Description:
To ensure the correct construction and implementation of groundwater monitoring stations, the following objectives mustcurrent. - Obtain data on the net basis of aquifers, stratigraphy and other key elements before the construction of piezometric stations. Geophysical prospecting studies - carrying out geophysical prospecting studies in the study area using accepted methods as transitionsElectromagnetic (TEM) and/or electrical resistivity tomography. - Use studies to obtain precise information on soil stratigraphy, the net base of the aquifer and the depth of the water mirror. - Identify the maximum depth and vertical distribution of groundwaterto influence the design and optimal location of the wells. Preliminary well design - Define the adequate diameter and depth of the pipe based on geophysical studies. Considering these objectives, the company must prepare a preliminary technical proposal that includes the following:✓ Geophysical method (s) to use. ✓ Justification of the selection of methods. ✓ An tentative layout of the points where the studies will be carried out. ✓ Ensure that the preliminary technical proposal meets these requirements, otherwise it will be declaredinadmissible.
