- Description:
- The objective is to hire a consultancy to guide the Ministry of Energy (MEN) in gathering information and quantifying the potential for energy andfinancial savings, updating the existing Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) and an analysis andproposal for expansion of the MEPS for capacities greater than 7.5 kW. Thisincludes an assessment of the situation of motors between 0.75 and 7.5 kW thatare regulated by the current MEPS, as well as the introduction of MEPS for electric motors with power outputsgreater than 7.5 kW. The analysis is expected to cover technical, economic andregulatory aspects that will define the scope of the new standards for the twoengine power ranges.
