- Chile signs the Biological Diversity Treaty in 1994, however, to give an account of the Biological Diversity Treaty, it is nothing but in 2003 that the first National Biodiversity Strategy (ENBD) is prepared and approved in 2005. This was updated in 2015, but only in 2017 it was approved by the Council of Ministers for Sustainability, within the framework of the Aichi 2010-2020 goals. ENBD allows to promote sectoral coherence and agree under the same condition of state the protection and careful use of biodiversity, with goals and common vision. The Conference of Parts (COP) 15 of the Agreement on Biological Diversity, the global biodiversity frame (MGBD) Kunming-Montreal Post 2020 is agreed, which sets a renewed look to reach 23 goals for the conservation of global biodiversity for the 2030. The climatic crisis is directly linked to the biodiversity crisis and is in this scenario, where the ENBD 2017-2030 requires being evaluated in a new international context related to MGBD 2030-2050.
