Description: The general objective of the project aims to optimize the displacement of users of the Coquimbo-La Serena Conurbation, through the standardization of old traffic lights facilities, replacement for Non -Standard Traffic Controllers, the implementation of updated programming, and the construction of a synchronism and communications network, which allows the integration of them to the Traffic Control System of the Coquimbo Region. The normalization and integration of traffic lights will allow to provide the following: • Greater security of intersections for greater visibility and reduction of traffic light failure rates • Lower energy consumption for the use of LED lamps; • Ease of implementing variable traffic light programming, depending on of vehicular behavior at each time of the year, of the day and time;
