The hiring of the service of second traumatologist for assistance of complex emergency traumatological surgery, defined as: joint fractures, long bones fractures, fractures that require transarticular external fixation, lateral hip fractures, for hip fractures, for theHospital Emergency Unit of the Magallanes Clinical Hospital. There is a group of traumatological pathologies that could be resolved urgently if there were a second assistant traumatologist. As so far this is not possible, patients are hospitalized and should beresolved in elective tables, increasing the days of hospitalization and thickening waiting lists.
