Description:
Santa Cruz Hospital, establishment of medium complexity and head of the Santa Cruz microa formed by 11 communes of the provinces of Colchagua and Cardenal Caro, is a health reference center for a population of more than 150,000 inhabitants. Debid to the exponential population growth, The increase in portfolio of services and complexization of various units experienced as a result of COVID-19, is that the endowment of medical human resource hired under law 15,076 has become insufficient to cover the respective rotating ones that allow continuity of attention in various units and services that involve critical processes both in the Emergencies, Pavilion or Critical Patient Units. This gap has been quantified in more than 13 positions, which from December to December totals more than 20,000 hours of unresolved medical care, than for continuity of services They must be hired under alternative modalities, such as the purchase of services.
