- The Barros Luco Trudeau Hospital, a self -managed establishment, belonging to the healthcare network of the South Metropolitan Health Service, is in charge of satisfying the health care needs contemplated for the beneficiaries of Law No. 18.469, from assigned communes to its territory. That, in order to perform densitometry exam, priority in patients with GES pathology, to evaluate the impact of bone health treatments and to identify the risk of osteoporosis and fractures, a provision that is not available in this Establishment. The services must be provided in provider's offices, which must have adequate infrastructure for older adults, and people with reduced mobility.
