Description:
The Illustrious Municipality of Rio Verde, a rural commune of the Magallanes region, summons public tender for the elaboration of its PLADETUR Tourism Development Plan corresponding to the 2026-2029 period. According to the Organic Law of Municipalities No18,695, it is the function of the municipalities Promote tourism development in its territory. Rio Verde is characterized by its wealth of natural attractions such as the OTWAY sinus, the Fitz Roy and others and rural cultural heritage, which offer high tourist potential. Currently, the commune does not have a planning instrument Tourism, which makes it difficult to effectively guide the initiatives and resources for local tourism. PLADETUR is a strategic planning instrument aimed at defining objectives and guidelines for the development and management of communal tourism activity in the short, medium and long term. The formulation of this plan will identify the current situation of tourism in Rio Verde, agree on a vision of the future for destiny, and establish strategies, programs and projects that will guide the sustainable tourism development of the commune.
