- The main objective of this public proposal is the purchase of surgical interventions of orthopedic oncology, with the purpose of responding to the demand for patient care that are on the surgical waiting list and with clinical priorities. This, because, by Lack of pavilion availability, it has not been possible to perform these benefits within the institutional schedule for such purposes. In this context, the proposed service is intended to solve all those surgeries corresponding to patients with diagnostic suspicion oncological or with confirmed oncological diagnosis, who require timely intervention. In this way, it seeks to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with these pathologies. On the other hand, resolving these conditions is not only essential for the treatment of cancer itself, but It also contributes significantly to improving the quality of life, physical functionality and the general well -being of patients. Also, early intervention, along with an adequate clinical approach, can make an important difference in both short and long -term results. Therefore, not addressing these pathologies in a timely and adequate way from the beginning can make surgical interventions much more complex and risky.
