Expression of Interest are invited for Green and Resilient Buildings Market Assessment for Chile The main objective of the country market - assessment is to gather and analyze: 1) Green Buildings market information to characterize the current state of the building market in the country. This will enable IFC to assess the maturity of the green building market. The assessment will also serve as a baseline assessment to IFC-s potential investment in the country, contribute EDGE-s market intelligence, and add to existing public knowledge. The assessment will collect market information for different dimensions of the Green Building Market (Table 1) to be able to provide a complete picture of the green building market. The vendor is expected to present recommendations for how the IFC could potentially address identified challenges to increase the green number and volume of green certified buildings in Chile through EDGE and investment or advisory engagements.1 2) Resilient Buildings market information including an overview of the regulatory environment for resilient buildings, relevant stakeholders, financial mechanisms, technology to identify hazards, mitigation measures and cost assessments in Chile (Table 2). The vendor is expected to present recommendations for how the IFC could potentially address the identified challenges to increase the green resilient buildings in Chile through Building Resilience Index and other investment and advisory engagements.
