- It is required to hire professional services specialized in the capture of background images through bilateral non -midriatic retinography, in the field, for adult users with diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus under control in primary care establishmentsHealth of the Assistance Network of the Magallanes Health Service. The objective of this service is to be able to perform the preventive screening of diabetic retinopathy, complication derived from type 2 diabetes mellitus and main cause of blindness avoidable in the economically active population, so thatIts detection is essential to avoid loss of vision. The provision of services must ensure the quality of the images and the correct record, in case of being necessary, to carry out the timely derivation to the specialty of ophthalmology.
