(polygraphs) to measure respiratory airflow through the nose during sleep. Its main function is to record breathing and detect respiratory pauses (apneas), decreases in flow (hypopneas) and snoring, contributing to the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Likewise, the acquisition of tracheostomy cannulas and nasal cannulas (nasopharyngeal or oxygen) is considered, intended to secure the airway and facilitate breathing at different levels: Tracheostomy cannula is surgically inserted into the neck to bypass obstructed upper airways, while the nasal cannula allows oxygen to be delivered gently through the nose.
