The Illustrious Municipality of Punta Arenas, through the PUBLIC SECURITY DIRECTORATE in conjunction with the MUNICIPAL OFFICE OF WOMEN, seeks to continue the implementation of the Project to support women victims of Violence Intra-family, called "SOS Panic Buttons for Women", a project that began in September 2020. This initiative allows interdisciplinary support to be provided to women victims of VIF with comprehensive care, and a communications terminal device is also delivered. GPS DC.GPS with panic button that when activated emits a simultaneous signal in three ways: 1. Alerts the Carabineros of Chile through a phone call. 2. SMS and/or e-mail to the user's support network, 3 people chosen by her. 3. Sound and visual alert on the management platform, located at the Municipal Monitoring Center located in the offices of the Municipality of Punta Arenas. The project also allows inter-institutional work between the Prosecutor's Office, the Carabineros of Chile and the Illustrious Municipality of Punta Arenas, who signed a Collaboration Agreement that allows working network to provide better care to the victim users of the Project.
